I was wondering how many times Obama has gone to play golf up until this point and how many times Bush jr went on golf trips during his administration. While we are at it I wonder if there are any stats on other recent presidents golf outings.|||In April 2010 Obama had already surpassed George W's number of golf outings. As of June 2011 Obama has golfed 75 times as president.|||I have a strong dislike of Obama. But I really don't care how much he or any president plays golf. They do have maybe the most important job in the world, but they have to have some downtime and leisure in their lives. But what's frustrating is if Bush had played that many times the liberals would've castrated him for it.|||whether you like Obama, like Bush Jr. or any other past president it needs to be understood that the individual holding the office of President of the USA is likely the most stressed out person on the planet. If playing a round of golf helps to relax him then fine. I'd rather the guy who holds the launch codes were relaxed and in a good frame of mind than so stressed out that pushing the button is his only form of stress release.
Hope that he plays well and enjoys himself.
Just as an aside, most sitting presidents play their golf at Andrews AFB, a short drive from the White House. The most avid golfer was probably Eisenhhower.|||That's like asking how many times has Obama gone to his ranch to cut brush opposed to how many times Bush did. Maybe Obama like golf better than Bush?|||Obama's an elitst. One set of spending rules for him and his wife and another for everybody else who pays for it.
