Three golf balls fit snugly in a rectangular box. What fraction of the space in the box do they occupy?|||Exactly the same ratio as that between a sphere and a cube have a side of the same length as the diameter of the sphere.

The ratio is : 4/3 x pi x r x r divided by d x d x d.|||hmm. i don't quite understand how three balls can fit snugly in a box but think of it this way, if you have one golf ball that fits snugly in a square box then one half of the box is occupied :)|||Some dimensions would be useful would they not ? !|||128/146
