I am a caddie and I am having trouble finding golf balls once they are hit from the tee, any experience or tips will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.|||if you fore caddie if it is a blind tee shot try couting to 6 after you hear them hit then at around the count of six the ball should come down... Definetly wear sunglasses and as u caddie more the better you will be at finding the golf ball|||Rule 1) Be behind ball, oblique to player and away from glare when ball is in flight.
2) Never watch impact, at 130mph it is hardest to follow. But catch it at a 100 yards, it looks like it's floating in slow motion.
3) Since you caddie, then you know the players style. Hook, Draw, Fade so you can anticipate.
4) Suggest to your players to mark their balls properly before the game so that even National Geographic can identify it properly a thousand years later.|||I follow them starting at the club face into the sky. If its sunny wear sunglases. Also if your having alot of trouble golf ball glasses are avaliable at most golf stores, a major brand is VisiBall, they make all other things black out and only the white golf ball appears. Retail cost around 25$. I love mine use em all the time when I caddy|||Dont ask me I lose balls all the time.|||I think you must be a freshie caddie. Spotting golf ball is relatively easy after tee-off, just focus your sight on the green portion in your vision. Do not chase the ball as it will get lost in the sky especially when it is a cloudy day. the ball will blend in with the sky color and you will have difficulty spotting it when it is coming down.
Anticipate the golf ball coming down and look out to the ground part and you can spot the golf ball either by the white or the greyish dot.|||If the person teeing off doesn't mind, stand behind them off to the side. It is easier to follow the ball that way. Get a point of reference of where the ball hits. IE, the small tree or to the left/right of an object.
Reviews I have read on the golf glasses were not good.|||I try to stand back somewhere behind my partners, but also off to one side, hopefully with the sky as my backdrop. Also I actually don't watch impact, I wait until I see the ball take off and follow it out from there. Seeing the ball streak by gives me a feel right away as to weather it's low or high and I just find I pick it up easier that way. Good luck.
